About the Role
As a Volunteer Coordinator, your responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, training, and supervising experts by experience, student placements, and volunteers.
- Delivering and sourcing qualifications for service users and peer supporters.
- Promoting mutual aid throughout the Borough for service users.
- Coordinating and participating in Borough Recovery activities and Peer Led activities such as ‘Recovery through Nature’ and SMART Recovery.
- Leading on Service User Involvement, co-production, and feedback, including focus groups and audits.
- Working effectively with CNWL and other key partners in the Borough.
About You
You should be a driven individual, able to engage effectively through face-to-face meetings, written contact, and online video conferencing (Microsoft Teams).
Key requirements include:
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SystmOne is advantageous.
- Applications from individuals with lived experience of substance addiction recovery and the Criminal Justice System are encouraged.
- A DBS check is mandatory, and the right to work in the UK must be evidenced.
