Overview

To manufacture, assemble and build Marshall specialist projects using engineering drawings and associated design data to meet the business and customer expectations.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Support the Production Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring that all MLS projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out within the allocated time.
• Understand and work to Marshall configuration control processes.
• Maintain Marshall production processes and procedures.
• Follow and work in line with Marshall Health and Safety management systems.
• Take an active role in continuous improvements, including lean and 5S procedures.
• Ensure a clean compliant work area is maintained at all times.
• Identify required equipment and tooling to the line manager.
• Attend and support production meetings if required.
• Complete daily timesheets.

Qualifications

• Completed a City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent in Vehicle Body Building, Mechanical Fitting, or a Manufacturing and Assembly Qualification.
• Experience in Vehicle Body Building, Mechanical Fitting or equivalent trade.
• Understanding and experience in Assembly processes and techniques.
• Competent skills gained through training and experience, with the ability to communicate within a team.
• Understanding of policies and procedures required within a workshop environment.
• Understanding of Production methods and processes.
• Competent understanding and ability to read engineering drawings and associated design data.
• Understanding of planning methods and skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of Appraisals/PDR’s.
