About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Support the Production Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring that all MLS projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out within the allocated time.
- Understand and work to Marshall configuration control processes.
- Maintain Marshall production processes and procedures.
- Follow and work in line with Marshall Health and Safety management systems.
- Take an active role in continuous improvements, including lean and 5S procedures.
- Ensure a clean compliant work area is maintained at all times.
- Identify required equipment and tooling to the line manager.
- Attend and support production meetings if required.
- Complete daily timesheets.
Qualifications
- Completed a City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent in Vehicle Body Building, Mechanical Fitting, or a Manufacturing and Assembly Qualification.
- Experience in Vehicle Body Building, Mechanical Fitting or equivalent trade.
- Understanding and experience in Assembly processes and techniques.
- Competent skills gained through training and experience, with the ability to communicate within a team.
- Understanding of policies and procedures required within a workshop environment.
- Understanding of Production methods and processes.
- Competent understanding and ability to read engineering drawings and associated design data.
- Understanding of planning methods and skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of Appraisals/PDR’s.
