Catering Operations Support Manager required to support Vacancy Filler's beautiful homes in the Wiltshire, Somerset & Dorset Area.

About the Role

As a Catering Operations Support Manager, you will assist Vacancy Filler's Chef Managers & catering teams in Vacancy Filler's 5* care & nursing homes. This role involves traveling across Vacancy Filler's homes, so access to your own transport is essential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Direct & support Chef Managers & catering teams in their duties
  • Demonstrate meal preparation & presentation to specification
  • Guide the team on meal production based on order sheets
  • Ensure daily, weekly & monthly due diligence is completed
  • Cover Chef or Chef Manager roles when required
  • Lead training in the Country Court Food Safety Manual
  • Financially develop and monitor the team
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, and environmental policies

About You

  • Have multi-site experience
  • Establish trust and ensure compliance through exemplary leadership
  • Take initiative and responsibility, fostering flexibility and adaptability
  • Possess proven leadership skills
  • Deliver and receive feedback effectively
  • Have excellent people management skills
  • Hold City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry
  • Ideally have over 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Have access to your own transport
