Band 6 Physiotherapist Maternity Cover - Southend Outpatients

Overview

A vacancy has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 MSK (Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapist to join Southend University Hospital NHS Trust's outpatient physiotherapy service at Southend Hospital on a 9-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and must hold a degree in physiotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clinical caseload and provide supervision to junior staff and students.
• Participate in clinical teaching and in-service training sessions.
• Provide physiotherapy to patients with a range of acute and chronic MSK conditions.
• Contribute to the ongoing CPD commitment of the outpatient physiotherapy team.

Qualifications

Experience working as a Band 5 physiotherapist with completed core rotations, including MSK outpatients, is essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary, alongside a commitment to personal and service development.
