Responsibilities
As a Cook, you will be delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. Your role will require you to:
- Prepare, cook and serve meals to pupils and staff.
- Supervise kitchen staff.
- Order food and manage stocktaking.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Set up and clear dining furniture.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen areas.
Work Schedule
Your working hours will typically be from 07:45 to 13:45, totalling 30 hours per week over 5 days, depending on meal uptake. There will be no weekend work.
Salary and Benefits
You will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year, paid at a rate of £12.38 - £13.02 per hour, along with annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.

Experience and Skills
Preferred experience includes:
- Chef: 1 year
- Cooking: 1 year
- Kitchen experience: 1 year
Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
