To work as a member of the Intensive Dementia Service, providing an alternative to hospital admission for people with dementia. The post holder may be required to work flexibly at times to meet the needs of the service. Responsibilities include:
- Providing efficient administrative support within the Intensive Dementia Service.
- Communicating with patients and carers to arrange appointments and provide information.
- Ensuring timely return of statistical data as required.
- Developing, organising and implementing office systems that monitor waiting times.
- Providing information to patients, staff, and GPs regarding appointments and care.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all disciplines of staff.
- Participating in meetings, training, and service development.
- Organising and prioritising daily workloads and follow-up actions.
