Job Responsibilities
As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and assisting in creating the finest dishes using local produce.
- Working directly under the Chef de Partie.
- Assisting the team in your section to ensure the highest standards of product.
- Collaborating with senior team members to develop your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent.
- Food hygiene certifications.
- Good written and spoken English.
- A flexible attitude.
- Experience in a restaurant or hotel background.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A real passion for the industry and an eye for detail.
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles.
