TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a Primary School located in Merthyr Tydfil. The Primary School offers lifelong learning opportunities where everyone is valued, respected and given the chance to flourish.

The Primary School is looking to take on a talented Teaching Assistant / TA on a temporary basis, leading to a potential permanent position for the right Teaching Assistant / TA.

The successful candidate will be working across both Foundation and Key Stage 2 / KS2 pupils and will be expected to educate and motivate pupils by using creative resources to contribute to their development whilst following child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with children in an educational establishment
• Experience working with children up to Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils
