Location: Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire
Shift Pattern
- 12-hour shifts, between 8 am to 11 pm
Active Pathways Ltd is currently recruiting compassionate Support Workers to join Active Pathways's team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team, ensuring that the individuals Active Pathways support can live as independently as possible.

Qualifications and Skills
Active Pathways's Ideal Support Worker Will:
- Have knowledge and understanding of Mental Health diagnoses, Learning Disabilities, and/or Autism.
- Appreciate the importance of person-centred care and promoting independence.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have experience working in challenging environments, particularly with individuals facing issues such as suicide, self-harm, or mental health crises.
Desired Experience
- Supporting individuals in activities of daily living, including social, recreational, and occupational activities, and helping young people engage in the community.
- Collaborating seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.
- Promoting positive practices in Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Mental Capacity within the service.
- Experience working with individuals who have mental health needs or challenging behaviours, such as self-harm, eating disorders, epilepsy, schizophrenia, or personality disorders.
