Semichem is a value-driven multi-product retailer with over 80 stores across Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the North East of England. Scotmid Food offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join Scotmid Food's store team as a Sales Assistant.

Role Overview

The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering an excellent customer service experience, driving sales of new products and promotions, and contributing to the store’s overall success.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the tills and actively sell to Scotmid Food's customers
• Ensure the best possible level of customer service is consistently delivered
• Be aware of promotions, offers, and incentives
• Support the management team in maintaining high standards of merchandising
• Ensure adequate levels of stock are maintained
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store

Qualifications and Skills

Training will be provided, but experience in a sales or retail environment is desirable. Scotmid Food seek individuals with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills who enjoy working as part of a small team.
