£27,000 - £28,000 salary with pension, critical illness pay, life assurance, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services.
As Marketing Executive, you will implement all sales and aftersales marketing campaigns, supporting marketing activities for the group and OEM to constantly improve enquiry levels in line with divisional strategy. You will update digital marketing content on both the group website and OEM retailer website, assist local social media champions in driving content, and support marketing preference opt-ins and data capture improvements. Additionally, you will measure all marketing campaigns and share results with key stakeholders, ensuring all dealerships adhere to GDPR legislation, and assist in the creation of annual marketing plans.
You will develop relationships with all third-party agencies and OEM marketing teams, working to improve existing customer engagement and conquest customer activity across all marketing channels for the business. Furthermore, you will assist the Brand Manager, Divisional Marketing Manager, and Divisional Marketing Director with all other marketing activities as needed, ensuring cohesive and effective marketing strategies throughout the organization.
Your journey as a Marketing Executive:
- Coordinate divisional marketing activities as directed by the Divisional Marketing Manager or Brand Manager, ensuring strategic alignment.
- Obtain approvals for marketing and event costs, recording these in the marketing budget control spreadsheet.
- Monitor and measure marketing activities and events, creating reports for internal stakeholders and updating the annual marketing plan.
- Maintain and update group and OEM websites with accurate content, ensuring correct opening hours, contact details, and CTA routing.
- Support local social media champions with content generation and deployment to drive engagement and increase followers.
- Plan and support all marketing events, managing quarterly marketing activities and campaign activations.
- Develop relationships with third-party suppliers, agencies, and local partnerships, while ensuring compliance with OEM CI brand guidelines and relevant marketing legislation (FCA, GDPR, PECR).
What do you need to succeed in the role of Marketing Executive?
- Experience within retail marketing / similar fast paced industry
- You must be a team player
- Strong communication skills – shows confidence in communication with a range of stakeholders and has an ability to work cross functionality
- Basic understanding of digital marketing landscape with a willingness to learn
- Organised with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively, often under pressure
- Tenacious – you will have an eye for detail and strive for excellence in campaign delivery
- Demonstrable understanding of automotive retail (preferred)
- Energetic, pro-active with a positive ‘can – do’ attitude approach to change
- Experience of delivering multi-channel campaigns and controlling budgets would be preferred
