Richmond Council is seeking an Arts and Events Manager to join Richmond Council on a fixed-term contract within the Arts and Culture Service. This role focuses on embedding cultural engagement opportunities within the renewal programme for the Alton estate in Roehampton. The upcoming two years promise to be transformative as Wandsworth prepares to become London Borough of Culture in 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instigate and produce innovative arts and cultural activities that engage local communities.
  • Lead projects focused on engagement, collaboration, and participatory decision-making.
  • Manage arts administration tasks, including contracting and budget monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in arts administration and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A passion for culture and community engagement.
