Automotive Body Engineer

Expleo Engineering is working on behalf of one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers to recruit a Body Engineer. This will be a contract role based at Expleo Engineering UK Limited's client's site in Bedfordshire.

Responsibilities

• Delivering part and system design tasks for trim within cost, quality, and timings.
• Carrying out development activities related to innovative technologies, cost optimisation, and breakthrough ideas related to BEV vehicles.
• Studying technical build business cases and leading validation and adoption of new designs.
• Leading/supporting communication and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum HNC/HND or international equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience working within trim parts.
• Extensive experience in automotive, within a Tier One or OEM.
• Preferably experienced in the use of NX.
