Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking an enthusiastic Accredited BSL Tutor to support Bradford Metropolitan District Council's Adult Learning provision. This role involves teaching British Sign Language (BSL) to diverse learners, focusing on individual needs and tracking progress.

Responsibilities

• Assess learners' starting points and tailor learning experiences.
• Deliver engaging lessons to adult learners.
• Provide relevant information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to learners.
• Utilize online platforms effectively for teaching and learning.

Requirements

• Recognized teaching qualification.
• Professional experience in teaching BSL.
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in adult education settings.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: £32,076 - £33,945, pro rata (Actual Salary £5,696 - £6,027 per annum). This is a term-time position with a total of 7.3 hours per week, including 5 contact teaching hours.
