Post Title: Area Cook 3

Location: Lochcarron Primary School

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £18,617 - £20,484 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose

The role involves traveling to various locations to assist in the operational requirements of the Service.

You will organise, administer, and directly participate in providing a multi-choice traditional or cash-cafeteria catering service, including welfare meals. Your responsibilities include:

• Direct control over production
• Ordering provisions
• Cash collection and banking of Highland Council Monies
• Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of catering services in compliance with the School Health Promotion and Nutrition (Scotland) Act 2007

Requirements

The following qualifications and skills are essential:

• Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or similar qualification
• Current driving licence and access to own car for work
