Associate Director of Safeguarding, Immediate Start, For Students

Overview

Croydon Health Integrated Safeguarding Team is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Associate Director for Safeguarding to lead Croydon Health Services NHS Trust's integrated safeguarding team, which includes adult, children, and maternity safeguarding as well as services for children looked after across both acute and community sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape Croydon Health Services NHS Trust's safeguarding and children looked after (CLA) agenda.
• Work closely with integrated Specialists and Named Professionals to ensure quality assurance mechanisms are in place, demonstrating compliance with statutory requirements.
• Provide professional leadership and specialist expertise regarding safeguarding within CHS and across the Croydon System.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on a national, regional, and local basis, including NHSE.
• Lead the Trust's achievement of statutory standards for Safeguarding and Children Looked After.
• Promote effective communication within the organisation and with external stakeholders.
• Oversee the completion of Statutory Safeguarding Review processes.
• Act independently and decisively within all portfolio areas.

Shift Patterns

This is a part-time position, requiring 30 hours per week.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Professional registration (registered nurse or midwife) is required.
