Overview

A Finance/Administrator position has arisen within a Primary School in Handsworth. This is your opportunity to be part of a loving school team.

To be successful for this role, you need to be capable of ensuring proper flow of office procedures, supporting the school by carrying out common office duties. Experience dealing with Finance enquiries such as budget balances and processing payments is essential. The ideal candidate would have Finance experience working in a school.

You will also be liaising with local authorities and the school's headteacher. Maintaining a positive and friendly school image is vital, as you will be acting as the first line of contact for visitors, pupils, external companies, and parents, both in person and via telephone.

This full-time role requires you to work 5 hours a day.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive and highly efficient admin service.
• Handle enquiries from parents, students, and the general public, both in person and over the phone.
• Interact with directors and carry out their requests.
• Deal with queries and complaints procedures.
• Handle a variety of tasks quickly, efficiently, and calmly.
• Supervise other administrative staff.
• Organise and facilitate various educational or social activities.
• Meet deadlines and exhibit excellent organisational, administrative, and IT skills.
