Posted:Lincolnshire County Council is looking for an Assistant Homes Manager to join the established staff team at The Beacon in Grantham. The Beacon is an 11 bed Residential Children's Home that provides full-time care and support for young people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Homes Manager and deputise in their absence.
- Directly line manage the senior level of care officers within the Beacon.
- Promote the ethos of the home throughout the staff team.
- Ensure a safe level of staffing at all times, which may include nights, bank holidays, and weekends.
About You
As the Assistant Manager, you must confidently safeguard and proactively support and lead the team in making safe decisions. You will need:
- Management experience.
- To hold or be willing to work towards the QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
- Experience in supervising staff and participating in multi-agency working.
- To assume responsibility for the Home in the absence of the Homes Manager.
Working Hours
Assistant Homes Managers are required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
