Welsh Water is seeking interested applicants who have achieved or will be achieving a degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related degree—no prior experience needed.

Your Graduate Scheme

This is a very exciting area; master data management is crucial for developing and maintaining the uniformity and accuracy of Welsh Water's shared master data. It helps improve data quality, supports informed data-driven decisions, and enhances operational efficiency.

As part of Asset Data Management, Welsh Water will support you to develop skills in data analysis, data wrangling, data systems administration, programming languages, and IT fundamentals. You will need to work across different systems and with key stakeholders to support important business decisions regarding investment, regulatory engagement, and day-to-day operations.

Good to Know

Your graduate scheme will primarily be based in South-East Wales. However, on occasions, you may be expected to travel to sites across Wales and its borders.

Recruitment process: Welsh Water is running Welsh Water's adverts until December 8th. If your application meets Welsh Water's criteria, you’ll be sent a short assessment to complete. The second stage of assessment will be an in-person assessment centre, likely to take place in Cardiff between February and March 2025. Welsh Water is looking for a CV and cover letter that demonstrate how you will make a difference and add value.
