Assistant Kitchen Manager / Senior Chef De Partie

Overview

Canopy Café is Center Parcs's counter service food and drink offering within the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, it’s a place for Center Parcs's guests to refuel in the pool. Serving hot and cold drinks, hot takeaway food, and a range of ice creams and desserts.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Kitchen Manager / Head Chef in effective kitchen management
• Ensuring budget compliance through food cost analysis
• Monitoring and improving guest satisfaction with food quality
• Maintaining food safety legislation compliance
• Preparing and presenting food to specified standards

Hours of Work

Working straight shifts, contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period flexibly, typically between 8 am and 8 pm, including public holidays and during Christmas/New Year on a rota basis.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential requirements:

• Ability to lead in a busy kitchen
• Financial awareness for stock and wastage management
• Previous Chef de Partie or Head Chef/Sous Chef experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Some knowledge of financial targets

Desirable requirements:

• Experience with stock management systems
