Are you passionate about education and supporting adults in Halton to develop their digital skills? If so, the Digital Skills Tutor post may be for you! Halton Borough Council is looking to appoint a Digital Skills Tutor who is confident, skilled, and has experience of teaching digital skills at different levels.

Halton Borough Council is keen to ensure that Halton Borough Council's adult learners develop the digital skills they need to navigate their everyday personal and working lives. This is an exciting opportunity to join Halton Adult Learning Service. You can help support people to change their lives and learn something new, whether it’s a Social Media for Beginners course or a Digital Functional Skills qualification. Halton Borough Council want Halton Borough Council's adult learners to be able to develop the skills they need to engage with the digital world with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging digital skills training to adult learners.
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop course materials and lesson plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve the learning experience.

Salary and Benefits

In return for your hard work, you will receive:

  • Competitive salary for teaching delivery and non-teaching duties such as team meetings and training (£15.04 per hour for non-teaching duties, £24.24 per hour for non-accredited teaching hours, and £27.80 per hour for accredited teaching hours).
