Role Overview

The role of the Manager involves overseeing a portfolio of accounts clients and requires an experienced practice accountant, with an emphasis on client service, assignment delivery, and the coaching of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients delivering accounts-based services.
• Supervising the work of junior staff including planning, briefing, guiding, reviewing, and providing feedback.
• Managing relationships with clients, including agreeing on timescales and deadlines, managing fees and billing, and being the first point of contact for clients during meetings.

Suitable Candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

• Professionally qualified as ACA or ACCA with relevant experience in managing clients and supporting team members.
• Supportive, caring, and collaborative with colleagues at all levels, responding positively to requests for assistance.
• Excellent in communication skills to maintain strong client relationships, along with a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
