Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the School Attendance Support Service, which works with schools in Walsall to monitor and enforce regular attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and communicate with pupils and families to identify barriers affecting school attendance.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving attendance at individual and school-wide levels.
- Conduct home visits and parental meetings.
- Collaborate with pupils, staff, and parents to reduce absence rates.
Shift and Schedule:
Flexitime with roles of 37 hours or 30 hours, term time only.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Experience in an educational setting and supporting vulnerable pupils is essential.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: £27,803 - £32,076.
