About the Role:

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an eye for detail? Salford Council is looking for a highly organised and proactive Administration Officer to join the in-house private sector property management service for Salford City Council. This office-based role is essential to the smooth operation of the service and involves managing various administrative tasks, liaising with tenants, landlords, contractors, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front-line Contact: Be the first point of contact for all incoming calls and email enquiries from tenants, landlords, contractors, and external partners, ensuring professional and efficient responses.
  • Document Management: Draft, check, and maintain a variety of important documents, including tenancy agreements and landlord agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Data Management: Enter and update data across various systems, ensuring information is accurate and accessible. Generate reports to support operational decision-making.
  • Office Administration: Maintain effective office systems, order goods and services, process invoices, and manage payments in line with financial policies.
  • Team Support: Support the wider team by monitoring off-site visits and handling queries, playing a role in developing and improving business processes.
