About the Role
Longfield Medical Centre are hiring!

We are seeking a highly-motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic assistant practice manager to provide support to our loyal practice team. This is a full-time role, working Monday-Friday 0900-1700 (37.5 hours per week)
 
The assistant practice manager will:
  • assist the practice manager to ensure the efficient, effective, and safe running of the practice and ensure the well-being of the patients, doctors, and staff is met.
  • be required to assist the management team to continue with practice development and its services.
  • support fully optimising the use of practice resources and personnel.
  • identify new opportunities and ways of meeting the needs and expectations of patients.
  • ensure correct practice policies and protocols are adhered to, thereby providing safe and efficient delivery of services.
  • be compliant in all regulatory matters, including CQC compliance, and implement General Data Protection Regulations within the practice. 
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
  • is confident in managing teams.
  • has experience in HR.
  • has strong communication skills to ensure the successful smooth running of a everyday practice life. 
An understanding of QOF/LES/DES/PCN and other supplementary services to the global sum contract would be advantageous.

Longfield Medical Centre is a semi-rural training practice with a rapidly growing list size, currently caring for approximately 17,000 patients with anticipation of growth to continue over the next few years.  We are focused on providing the highest standard of care to our patients and are supported by a large clinical and administrative team.
