Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Sales Associate, you will:

• Become a committed member of the team.
• Help maintain store performance and meet sales targets.
• Develop outstanding product knowledge and real jewellery expertise.
• Engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
• Deal with various customer enquiries as new products are introduced.

Training and Development

As an Apprentice Sales Associate, you will undergo the ‘Introductory and Silver’ levels of Ernest Jones's formal ‘Signet Jewellery Academy’ training and development programme. You will also complete an Intermediate Retail Skills Apprenticeship with Technical Certificate and Key Skills. An experienced mentor will be available to support you throughout your apprenticeship.

Your Rewards

Ernest Jones offer a training salary of £7.00 per hour, plus benefits, including sales incentives and staff discount. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices, the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

The nature of Ernest Jones's business means you may have opportunities to work additional hours during peak trading periods, Bank Holidays, and weekends.
