Responsibilities

  • Receive and load orders correctly onto the Sales Order Processing System.
  • Serve customers at the Trade Counter, over the phone, and via email, providing the best advice on application and product usage.
  • Manufacture Fastmatch Colour accurately in branch for customer requirements where possible.
  • Follow the FM branch quality control system and retain accurate records.
  • Increase sales by promoting additional allied products from the Morrells range.
  • Process all paperwork accurately, ensuring cash receipts and petty cash are kept safe for banking.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand without exceeding targets.
  • Ensure the branch is clean, tidy, secure, and safe for customers and employees.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report any faults to the National Branch Manager.
  • Maintain records of service failures and compile management reports as required.
  • Use appropriate PPE for the job at all times.
  • Comply with all stock control functions as per procedural requirements.
  • Be flexible and available for cover in other areas if required, including standing in for the full-time Supervisor.
  • Accurately pick orders from local Branch Stock.
  • Ensure that the warehouse remains clean, tidy, and a safe working environment.

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • Competent and confident in using Fastmatch colour equipment (desirable).
  • Experience with D365 (desirable).
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and meet customer expectations.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing of co-workers and the environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Positive attitude, even in difficult situations.
  • Strong team working skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Retail sales: 3 years (preferred).
  • Customer service: 3 years (preferred).
