Job Summary: As an Assistant Underwriter in the UK Commercial Division, you will support the Commercial Combined product. This is an entry-level position, perfect for those looking to develop their skills in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Capture Risk information.
- Process New and Renewal Business Submissions.
- Attend triage calls, take and distribute minutes and action points.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team.
- Manage the internal monthly booking process with the Operations team.
- Engage with brokers on daily activities.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- 1 year industry experience – Not essential.
- Articulate and personable demeanor.
- Basic understanding of Excel and spreadsheets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- A desire to pursue a career in Insurance.
