The role will be based out of Barclays's Knutsford campus.

Purpose of the role:

To design, develop, and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for Barclays's customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities:

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
• Participation in code reviews, promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure code design, readability, and reliability.

Assistant Vice President Expectations:
