Barista/All Rounder

Overview

Kaffeine is looking for a talented and passionate Barista/Waiter to join Kaffeine's team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a similar role, is skilled in creating espresso-based drinks, and can produce intricate latte art.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, including those with complex latte art designs.
• Take customer orders and deliver food and beverages in a timely and friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and dining area.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Engage with customers to ensure they have a great experience, answer any questions, and provide recommendations.
• Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a barista, with strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
• Proficient in creating latte art.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a waiter or server role.
• Passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the craft.
• Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.

Pay: £11.00 - £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
