Job Summary

Mi Coco Cafe is seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join Mi Coco Cafe's team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist in food preparation while adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency in product quality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
• A genuine passion for coffee and customer service is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
