Wincanton is pleased to announce exciting opportunities for Warehouse Operatives to join Wincanton's successful team at the B&Q Distribution Centre, Worksop.

Job Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day functions within the warehouse, ensuring targets are met and standards of quality, accuracy, and hygiene are maintained.
• Complete all tasks to the highest quality standards and ensure the operation meets all requirements.
• Maintain health and safety standards by following relevant procedures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
• Report all incidents to a First Line Manager immediately.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and hygiene in all areas.
• Ensure all equipment checks are completed timely.
• Report any damage to stock or equipment following set procedures.
• Complete tasks within Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.

Shift Patterns Available

• Rotating shifts: Sunday to Thursday, days 06:00 – 14:00, afters 14:00 – 22:00.
• Fixed shifts: Various options available.

Candidate Profile

• Numerate and literate with an understanding of accuracy demands.
• Ability to operate within a fast-moving warehouse environment.
• Motivated and capable of working independently.
• Good communication skills to develop relationships at all levels.
• Strong focus on health and safety standards.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude.
