Position Overview:

  • Available Positions: 1 (1 x 16 hours)
  • Hours: Fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 6 PM
  • Location: Blackburn with Darwen Council's vibrant Children’s Centres and Family Hub receptions
  • Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Be the welcoming face of Blackburn with Darwen Council's centres, using your excellent interpersonal skills and friendly phone manner to connect with families and children.
  • Juggle reception duties while multitasking with ease!
  • Dive into a variety of administrative tasks, including: Creating documents and presentations through typing and word processing Creating and managing Excel spreadsheets Handling photocopying, printing, and filing Keeping Blackburn with Darwen Council's records and information systems up-to-date, both manually and digitally
  • Help shape Blackburn with Darwen Council's service delivery by preparing insightful monthly figures and statistics.
  • Coordinate electronic room bookings and gather valuable data.
  • Manage electronic orders for goods and materials, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Assist with essential financial tasks, including payment collation and record updates.
