Business Support Coordinator

Kent County Council is currently looking for a permanent, part-time Business Support Coordinator to join Kent County Council's busy and fast-paced team within the Thanet Community Service. The role will be based at Kent County Council's Minnis Community Hub, Birchington. Kent County Council's community service supports adults with learning disabilities through in-house and community-based activities, promoting independence and social skills.
Role Responsibilities
The successful applicant will play a proactive role in ensuring the smooth operation of Kent County Council's service. Regular duties include:
- Managing phone calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel
- Minuting regular team meetings
- Purchasing resources and processing expenses
- Maintaining and monitoring financial records
- Keeping spreadsheets and data up to date
- Being available throughout the day to assist the team with queries or requests
- Maintaining office systems, including databases and filing systems
