The Opportunity

Join Jimmy Garcia Catering as a Bar Team Leader or Junior Bar Manager to create a vibrant and festive alpine-themed atmosphere at Jimmy Garcia Catering's ice rink bar this Christmas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead Jimmy Garcia Catering's team and ensure an exceptional bar experience for guests.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ice rink bar, including stock management, ordering, and training staff.
• Implement a festive cocktail menu that enhances the alpine theme.
• Ensure the bar is maintained to the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Lead, motivate, and train a team of bartenders to provide outstanding customer service.
• Manage bar inventory and control costs effectively.
• Maintain a safe and responsible serving environment for all patrons.
• Collaborate with the Floor Manager to ensure seamless service delivery.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Passionate about beverages, including wines, spirits, and cocktails.
• Excellent product knowledge and eagerness to learn.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic pop-up environment.
• Food Hygiene, H&S, and First Aid certification are a plus.
• Availability to work either Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve.
