Job Summary
A permanent position is available for a Breakfix Workshop Supervisor to work within CDW's Operations Function. You will support the day-to-day management of Breakfix Services, ensuring the efficient movement of goods to CDW Engineers and customers through CDW's Workshops.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow procedures and adhere to safety and ESD precautions at all times.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving techniques and the ability to adapt and learn on the job.
- Work quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Comply with all company, department, and customer policies, including attendance at team meetings and completion of administrative tasks.
- Ensure individual work is completed to the required standard and that procedures are followed.
- Accurately complete all paperwork and system entries.
- Organize and manage individual workloads and time effectively.
- Liaise with the Workshop Senior Engineer to define priorities, objectives, and strategy.
- Maintain and improve skills in appropriate technologies through training and personal development.
- Ensure that customers receive the highest level of service.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Occasionally work beyond the regularly scheduled shift as necessary.
- Demonstrate ability to self-learn and to adhere to CDW values.
- Identify improvement ideas to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Act as the first point of contact for Rugby Breakfix Operations.
- Manage and improve departmental KPIs.
- Attend customer meetings to represent the Breakfix function.
- Oversee compliance with dangerous goods regulations.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives and align colleagues with changes.
- Maintain and improve technology solutions within the department.
- Identify training needs for team members.
- Ensure service level agreements are met.
- Manage day-to-day operations of Workshop Operations, focusing on administration and leadership.
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to all Technicians.
- Conduct performance reviews with Technicians.
- Drive accountability from Team Leaders and Seniors.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Experience within the IT industry (Test & Repair) and logistics is advantageous.
- Experience with Health and Safety regulations is also advantageous.
