Class 1 Flatbed Driver

Overview

Excellent opportunity for a Class 1 Flatbed Driver based in Filton, Bristol. Ongoing Class 1 / HGV 1 work available with no handball or heavy lifting involved as the truck is loaded and unloaded by crane.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 Flatbed vehicle, usually completing 1 delivery each shift.
• Starting at 3pm, working Monday to Friday, with typical shifts lasting 8 to 9 hours.
• Strap and secure the load, complete vehicle checks, and necessary paperwork.

Salary and Benefits

• £17.50 per hour, paid weekly every Friday.
• Working hours typically conclude by midnight.
• On-site parking and a pension plan are available.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E.
• Valid Tacho and CPC.
• Safety boots, high visibility clothing, and hard hat are required.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols.
