Join the Close Brothers Conduct & Control team where you will support across the business to effectively manage risks and controls, embedding the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), bank standards, policies, and laws.

Close Brothers Group's ideal team member will have experience as a risk and control practitioner, with excellent stakeholder management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Business Owners with compliance to the ERMF and the Group’s policies.
• Partner with Business Owners to embed a strong Risk and Control management culture.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of controls within operating processes.
• Support the Head of Regulation on significant regulatory changes and their impacts.
• Work closely with Compliance Managers to develop plans for regulatory changes.
• Develop a strong understanding of business products to ensure compliance.
• Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders to provide constructive feedback.

Close Brothers Group WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

• You are an experienced risk and control practitioner in financial services.
• You have good knowledge of FCA regulation, particularly Consumer Duty and Conduct Risk.
• You possess strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• You are experienced in establishing robust risk management frameworks.
• You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

• Hold an Operational Risk qualification/certification.
