Care Assistant for a young woman with a physical disability

Overview

Female Care Assistant required to support a young woman with a physical disability (Huntington’s disease), who lives in the Newton Hall area of Durham. UKCIL is looking for a Care Assistant to support her with day-to-day activities, including some assistance with housework and accompanying her to social activities such as going out for coffee/shopping.

Hours / Wage: 12 hours per week at 4 hours over 3 days. Preferably Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 11am – 3pm, which can be negotiated. It will also be to cover sickness and holidays. If you are interested, please advise what hours you would be available to work.

Must like dogs as there are two friendly dogs at the property. Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
