Hampshire County Council is recruiting for a Catering Assistant for Calshot Café. The café is located at Calshot Activities Centre, on the beach, offering stunning views across the Solent. Hampshire County Council's café serves a range of freshly cooked hot food, delicious pastries, cakes, and specialty drinks, making it a busy and vibrant place. Hampshire County Council cater to a diverse clientele, including climbers, cyclists, beach walkers, campers, and anyone visiting Calshot, ensuring each day brings new experiences.

What Hampshire County Council is Looking For:

As a Catering Assistant, you will need to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, providing excellent customer service and effectively managing unexpected situations. Key responsibilities include:

• Serving customers and handling cash and card transactions
• Preparing and serving various menu items
• Performing general tasks such as cleaning, washing up, and restocking

You should have a willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and impeccable personal presentation.

Shift and Schedule:

This role will include evening and weekend shifts.
