Catering Assistant

Overview

Location: Breadalbane Academy

As a Catering Assistant, you will undertake, under the general direction of a higher graded operative in a kitchen, the preparation, simple cooking, and serving of food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff.

Shift and Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 9.30am - 2.30pm

Salary and Benefits

Pay: £11.89 per hour

Expected hours: 18.75 per week

Education and Experience Requirements

Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory. A willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.

Please note that this position is subject to Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership, which is payable by Tayside Contracts.
