Overview

The Aman brand stands alone at the pinnacle of luxury and hospitality. The Communications Coordinator plays a vital role in the corporate Communications team, supporting various channels and activities. This position involves contributing to and implementing communications strategies, as well as providing essential administrative support.

Responsibilities

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of tasks:

Team Admin

  • Organize and pay all invoices for the Communications team.
  • Take and distribute minutes for relevant calls.
  • Lead the updates of monthly reports.
  • Assist with reports and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Manage travel arrangements for team members and partners.
  • Provide ad hoc admin support for leadership.

Communications

  • Scan and save media articles and file press clippings.
  • Produce clip reports for new openings and brand announcements.
  • Compile and manage media highlight books and award submissions.
  • Update the newsroom with current materials.
  • Assist in pitching news to writers and journalists.
  • Organize roadshows and events, including guest list updates.
  • Stay updated on global trends affecting Aman's business.

Particular Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in luxury settings preferred.
