Are you looking for a cleaning role that is a little different?
North Yorkshire Council have an opportunity for you to join the team working at one of North Yorkshire Council's Primary schools where your dedication to the role will enhance the children’s learning environment. Cowling primary school is a friendly family-orientated school where the children learn about good behaviour and respect to others.
Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including:
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Cleaning of sanitary fittings
Full training will be provided and the hours are between 15:30 and 19:00 daily, with some flexibility on start and finish time, totaling to 17.5 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work! For this, you will be paid £12 per hour.
In addition to this, you can take on additional Caretaker responsibilities such as unlocking and locking the site, setting the alarm, and ensuring the site is fully secure. This will earn you an additional £12 per hour based on 7 hours per week, involving a split shift where you would open the school between 07:00 and 07:30 and lock it between 19:00 and 19:54.
