Commercial Finance Analyst

Overview

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be assisting their Reading-based client with the recruitment of a Finance Analyst on a contract basis for up to 12 months. This role will allow you to utilise your strong analytical skills to support the Head of Finance with new business strategies and proposals across the business in line with the financial model.

What will the Finance Analyst role involve?

• Proactively project managing the financial/commercial components of all new opportunities.
• Using the commercial model to identify and analyse risks and opportunities, suggesting mitigation strategies and providing modelling support where appropriate.
• Supporting the Senior Finance Team in developing a culture of high-quality commercial financial management across the organisation.
• Suggesting and implementing new business process improvements, including developing and maintaining templates for internal bid budgets.
• Providing support to Commercial Finance Analysts as needed.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy:

• Qualified, part qualified, or qualified by experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent Excel skills, with good knowledge of macros and advanced techniques.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively, adhering to strict deadlines.
• A methodical and accurate approach with strong attention to detail.
• A proactive team player, identifying areas for improvement.
