Somerset Bridge Group is looking for an initiative-taking person with the desire to learn and develop new skills, to join Somerset Bridge Group's Counter Fraud Unit. Whether you have always liked the idea of a career in fraud investigation or have an established career in claims, the Counter Fraud Unit could be just the team for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of and reviewing fraud referrals from Brokers, Suppliers, and internal handling Teams, as well as automated fraud prevention systems.
- Acting as a referral point for fraud related queries across the group.
- Conducting desktop searches and enquiries to determine proven and potential fraudulent cases, as well as providing recommendations for further enquiries to be made.
- Communicating with internal and external customers.
- Contribute towards Somerset Bridge Annual Fraud Savings.
- Maintain accurate records on various databases.
- Actively take responsibility for the identification of claims and policy fraud trends, fraud operations and promoting fraud awareness across the Group.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Investigative skills with a knowledge of insurance fraud and other forms of financial crime.
- Working knowledge of GDPR and Proceeds of Crime Act.
- Excellent customer service and call handling skills with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work well as part of a team or as an individual.
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach.
- Ability to work pro-actively towards individual and team KPIs and Objectives.
- Ownership of own workload.
