Due to continued growth, JS Legal Recruitment Ltd's client now has an opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer to join their in-house property team.

The Role

• Reporting to the company Solicitor heading the Plot Team
• Managing your own case load of plot sales
• Preparing individual plot documentation and part exchange title reports
• Building relationships with purchaser’s solicitors and the Group Legal Department
• Attending meetings with the sales team to review caseload
• Dealing with post completion matters such as SDLT returns
• Advising on issues arising during transactions
• Handling lease/transfer variations and reversion sales
• Recovering retentions (Non-litigious)
• Carrying out AML checks

Candidate

• Experienced and motivated Conveyancer with sound knowledge of residential conveyancing
• Qualification through the Institute of Legal Executives or degree level in law is an advantage
• Experience handling plot sales for residential house builders is a distinct advantage
• Ability to work with modern computer-based technology
• Self-motivated, adaptable with good team and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
