GWR is the proud custodian of Brunel's railway, known for some of the newest trains in the country and exciting plans to extend Great Western Railway's services. Great Western Railway carry over one hundred million passengers each year to more than 275 stations across the Southwest, from Cornwall and South Wales to London.

What are the responsibilities?

• Promote and sell GWR products onboard trains by engaging with customers.
• Offer a complimentary trolley service for first-class customers.
• Sell refreshments to standard-class customers.
• Serve as an ambassador for GWR, providing excellent customer service.
• Adhere to GWR safety principles, ensuring the safest possible journey.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment.

Skills and experience required:

• Customer service experience in a sales background.
• Cash handling experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Food handling and stock rotation experience is desirable.

• Able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Proactive and able to use initiative.

What is the reward?

Your initial salary will be £23,275, rising to £30,450 upon completing your probationary period. What else do I need to know?

You must live within an hour's traveling time from the station and be available for very early starts and late finishes. Minimum age for this position is 18.
