About the Team

As a Conductor, you will collaborate with the On Train team, ensuring a world-class customer experience and safety throughout the journey.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain safety.
• Provide information and assistance to customers in a friendly manner.
• Manage operational activities of the train.
• Check and sell tickets.
• Ensure a clean and pleasant environment on the train.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will be:

• Passionate about outstanding customer service.
• Flexible with a variety of shift patterns, including weekends.
• Comfortable in a regulated environment.
• Cool under pressure.

Requirements:

• Understanding of customer needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with front-line customer service experience.
• Confidence in managing challenging situations.

Location:

This position is based at Reading station, conveniently located near the shopping centre.

Working Conditions:

Shifts include early starts, late finishes, and weekends. You must be able to commute to the depot within 60 minutes.
