Job Overview

Ortum Products Limited is seeking a skilled and passionate Candle Maker to join Ortum Products Limited's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Candle Maker, you will be responsible for the entire candle-making process, from assembling materials to ensuring the final product meets Ortum Products Limited's high-quality standards. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a warehouse environment and has a keen eye for detail. In addition to making candles, Ortum Products Limited also produce a variety of fragrance and skincare products, leading to a varying number of job roles day to day in production, as well as order picking and packing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble candle components, including wicks, containers, and wax.
• Pack finished products into boxes and onto pallets for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, clear, and organized workspace.
• Pour wax into molds or containers while adhering to quality control measures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet strict production targets and deadlines.
• Support team members when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specific instructions accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A passion for crafting and an interest in candle making is highly desirable.
• Own transport is needed as Ortum Products Limited is slightly out of the way.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
