Main duties of the job

  • Undertaking health assessments, administering medication and treatments, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Providing and evaluating a range of health interventions to meet patients' health and social care needs.
  • Promoting general health and well-being while creating individual, person-centred plans for patients.
  • Managing and treating long-term conditions, adhering to national and local policies.
  • Reviewing medication for effectiveness based on evidence-based practice.
  • Prioritizing health problems and providing effective emergency care as needed.
  • Implementing vaccination and immunization programmes for all age groups.
  • Addressing wound care needs of patients.
  • Conducting hypertension reviews and management.
  • Running asthma, COPD, and diabetes clinics.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • A relevant nursing degree and current NMC registration with an active PIN.
